| Description: Charity Auction. This is a 1986 Carver 28 Cabin Boat powered by twin 220-HP inboard Crusader V8 engines. It has a lower deck with a sliding glass entry door and an upper deck with a complete navigation cockpit. The upper deck has wrap-around lounge style seating. Inside the cabin you'll find a sofa, booth dinette, Princess 2-burner stove top, stainless sink, and a refrigerator. Bathroom amenities include a vanity sink, and an integrated shower. There's an additional navigation cockpit to control the vessel from inside. There's a bedroom in the bow with a bed, 3-drawer dresser, vanity sink, and a mirrored storage cabinet. Additional features include a bimini top, river anchor, trim tabs, spotlight, and a rear swim platform w/ladder. We were unable to start the engines. Hours: 925/1,041. | The port side engine would not fire but did turn over. The other engine (starboard side), only clicks at the turn of the key and we were unable to turn it over by hand. The upholstery on the interior dashboard has peeled back. The hull is stained from being in the water. There's a plug/sensor missing from the bottom of the hull in the engine compartment, this requires a simple threaded plug. Unit has no props. The exterior upholstery and fiberglass have some discoloration. There are also numerous scuffs from docking. It appears to be a nice boat in need of a little engine work. |
