Description: 1970 Hatteras 44 Tri-Cabin powered with twin Detroit diesels and dual props. This Classic vessel is very spacious and features both a Kubota and Onan Generators, (2) Marine radios, AM/FM/CD audio system, air conditioning, (2) separate bathrooms, a huge galley, Raytheon electronics, an Anchor, plenty of sleeping quarters and a Flybridge.

Customer will have to provide their own ladder and enter at your own risk. They will need at least a 15' ladder or bigger to access the lower deck.

This unit is Deemed an Insurance loss due to being submerged. The engines were submerged in salt water for an unknown amount of time. The oil has water in it. The batteries were shorted out and had lots of corrosion and surface rust. There are no identifying tags on the Generators to tell the kw or hp. There is water in the oil in these as well and lots of corrosion and surface rust on the components. There are stress cracks throughout unit. The exterior shows major use but not bad for its age. There is lots of build up from being in the water. No major damage seen that caused vessel to leak. Most of the windows have been re-caulked. The pane glass in the living area is cracked. The rear of the deck has soft spots and several wood slats are missing. The hatch for rear bedroom from deck is broken and rotted around it. The small deck area at the main controls is buckled. At this time, none of the electrical can be tested due to submersion. The skirt around the rear deck is half broken off and missing. The top deck is weathered. At the entrance to lower deck from the main deck is currently leaking. The entire interior had been submerged in salt water. The wood flooring is swelling in certain places. There is another major leak leading into the lower rear master living quarters. The sub level still has some water in it. The diesel tanks have water in them.

Attention Canadian Bidders, there is no visible HID# on the Boat. As a result, this unit will NOT get across the border.
