| Description: 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air powered by a Chevrolet 350 engine that has been bored to 30 over and is backed by a T5 5-speed manual transmission. The prior owner stated that the engine has less than 1,000 miles on it since the complete overhaul and completion of the engine and transmission package. He also stated that the ODO/Dash components have been replaced several times, so the ODO is in fact not correct and shows 14,372. It does have 3:73 gears, a posi rear end, Edelbrock high rise intake, dual Edelbrock 4 barrel 500 carburetors, power steering, full dual exhaust system with header dumps, ladder bars mounted to the rear suspension, Sun Pro gauges, Sun Pro Super Tach tachometer and Riddler chrome wheels. The engine runs well/strong and the engine bay has been chromed out including a chrome brake master cylinder. Much of the work has been completed. In general, it needs a new front end and suspension work on the left side to make right again. This unit is available for inspection at our Michigan City, IN facility. |
Collision damage as shown. As always, please view all photos we have provided to give you a better idea of its condition. Items of note: The left side rocker panel is dented and pushed up. Left front hub damage. Right front tire will not hold air. Steering column is disconnected just ahead of the steering gear box by the firewall. The left side lower section of the header pipe is dented and flat spotted.The dash board is buckled in the center and the paint is chipped and flaking off. The shifter is disconnected for the transmission, but it is present.
